Italy – The Dolomites

The Dolomite Mountains in Italy are the perfect destination for a motorcycling holiday. The picturesque surroundings, coupled with amazing roads make it the ideal place for bikers. Twist and turn your way through the valleys and peaks and simply enjoy some of the most striking mountain landscapes anywhere in Europe.

America – Route 66

Route 66 is a massive 2,400 miles long, passing through many of America’s most iconic cities. Spanning from Los Angeles to Chicago, it travels through 8 states; Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California. From desert sands to breath-taking mountain ranges, Morocco is a great place to visit on your bike. The contrast of the hot Sahara desert matched with the snow-capped Atlas Mountains means there’s plenty of interesting sights and experiences for everyone. Take in ancient Kasbahs, souks and desert culture along the way.

Australia – The Great Ocean Road

Travelling from Melbourne to Peterborough, this ride illustrates just what Australia has to offer. Shoreline rainforests, beautiful sandy beaches perfect for surfing and rugged shipwreck coasts are some of the amazing sights along this road. Taking only a day, it is one of the shorter rides on the list, but definitely not one to be missed!

England – Yorkshire Dales and Moors

Let’s not forget good old Blighty! North Yorkshire has so much to offer for bikers. Twisting roads sweeping through valleys and moors, it has some of the best biking roads in the UK. The beautiful scenery and biker-friendly towns mean you’ll enjoy the Great British countryside and make friends along the way! Take a tour of the Dales; enjoy the fantastic coastal roads and climb the Pennines at this great location.

Wherever in the world you travel, we hope you have a fantastic time and enjoy! However, no matter where you are, always make sure you drive safely and appropriately and make sure you are aware of the laws on the roads and abide by them.

If you are unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident whilst you’re on your travels, solicitors such as Freeclaim have experts who can help with motorbike accident compensation.
