4 Ways to Spoil Your Partner

By Dean Shaw · On August 30, 2020

Are you finding that things in your relationship feel a bit off lately with all that’s going on in the world? Maybe you just really appreciate them and want to show them? Whatever your motivation, showing how much you care is a surefire way to improve your relationship, strengthen your bond and ensure your partner is as happy as can be. If you’re looking for some ways to spoil your partner, here are my top 4 ideas:

1. A Surprise Date
There’s nothing worse than. having a date planned and spending half the evening thinking about where you’re going to go and what you’re going to do. To make things more exciting, plan a date ahead of time, something you know they’ll love and surprise them with it. Say you’re planning to visit so and so friend, but instead take them to a fancy restaurant for a tasting menu, to their favourite spa for a couple’s massage, or even somewhere beautiful for an affordable picnic. Taking the time to plan something and to surprise them is a wonderful way to show how much you care.

2. Help Around the Home
Why not surprise them with a cleaned up house? If you tend to shy away from housework, there’s a good chance your partner is feeling tired from the burden of managing the home. You can either spring for a monthly cleaner to come if that’s within your budget, or you can use some elbow grease and help make the house sparkle. This simple gesture can really mean a lot to your partner and can equal serious brownie points.

3. Quality Time Together
There’s nothing more valuable than you own time, and why not share it with those you love most. It is so easy to fall into the habit of scrolling on our phones all night, basically ignoring those who are around us. Break the habit by setting aside a clear time each day to talk to your partner and really engage with them about how their day was and how everything’s going. Maybe instead of watch a TV show together, you can do something more interactive like playing a board game together. Focus on ways you can spend quality time together and really enjoy each other!

4. Get a Gift
This doesn’t have to be something expensive, instead focus on something you know they’ll use or something that would brighten their day. It could be something small like a giftcard to their favourite coffee shop so they can pick themselves up during the week. Maybe you can buy them something they’ve wanted for a long time but haven’t pulled the trigger on buying. Think about their hobbies and interests and if there’s any way you can show support to that by buying them something they can use. You can even buy something to spice things up in the bedroom, click here to learn more about dildos and how much fun they be.

Your partner should be one of the most important people in your life, so be sure to show them how special they are to you. Hopefully these 4 tips help you spoil your partner!
